IMPORTANT NOTICE
We would like to inform the public that our organization,
CBFNRM RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS FORMATION,
INC (CBFNRM-RDMCFI), an environmental
organization, has been inactive since mid-2005 mainly
due to lack of funds
and the non-availability of
most officers and members. This
is, however, a temporary status.
As this is a volunteerism organization, the members were
not constrained at all to participate in the programs and activities especially if their jobs or their own
means of livelihood were adversely affected in the process;
and this is particularly true concerning the officers who had spent considerable
personal funds and contributed even their personal belongings
for the initial organizational activities, programs and projects of
CBFNRM-RDMCFI from its inception in November 2003 up to August 2005.
Due to these reasons,
but mainly due to lack of funds even for the maintenance
of an office, nor for
mobility, nor external communications, the
CBFNRM-RDMCFI has not held any Board Meeting since
mid-2005. Although some officers are still communicating with each other regularly, no resolutions had been formed due to lack of quorum. The last Board Resolution passed was dated February
12, 2005 (copy submitted to SEC).
This INACTIVE STATUS is
temporary and we
will inform the public of any official resumption of
activities. Until such notice, any activity that will be attributed to our organization
is considered fraudulent, a misrepresentation, and an illegal use of our
corporate name.
This
is also to inform SEC that information has reached me (though this is subject to investigation and verification) that some unauthorized people have been
and are using our corporate
name for their own selfish motives and interest. One such activity cited by
an informant is some personal/unofficial fund-raising activity
of people who had applied for membership but had never attended any meeting nor participated in any activity but had gained access to some documents of CBFNRM. The solicitation of such donations in cash and kind are surely
for their own personal gain only and does not involve the organization. Without a Board Resolution,
such acts are unofficial and illegal. If any
Board Resolution has been used
for similar unlawful purposes, we presume that the signatures
