Our  organization,   duly  registered  with  SEC  under Registration No.  CN200341816 ---- the CBFNRM- RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, MARKETING  &  COMMUNICATIONS  FORMATION,  INC  (CBFNRM – RDMCFI/SAGIP KALIKASAN), is  a non-stock,  non-profit,  multi-sectoral,  multi-disciplinary, multi-regional  formation  established  to  affiliate,  integrate, cooperate, collaborate,  merge  with  private  institutions/associations,  community  organizations,  and   other  groups  sharing   similar    purpose,  objective,  activity,  program,  or  policy on environmental  rescue;   and  to  supplement  government  effort  in  the critical   management and protection   of  the environment   and   natural  resources of  the  country.

The   rationale  behind  CBFNRM - RDMCFI  is  stated  in  its  Article 2 (Based on the  UN Agenda 21 and the Johannesburg Plan  of  Implementation)  Statement  of  Principles:  Sound ecosystem management should recognize the legitimate contribution of many systems of knowledge/disciplines  (i.e. aboriginal, traditional, local, technological, and scientific).   It is important that all communities have sufficient access to a variety of systems of knowledge to support their   management  decisions  on  forest and  other  natural  resources.  The failure of industrial-forestry science to bring about practices that protect forest ecosystems and communities highlights the need to respect and integrate indigenous, local,  and  multi-disciplinary  systems of knowledge. An appropriate system of up-to-date,  integrated knowledge  should  continue to adapt and evolve with research and changing situations on the ground, and hence will lead to and support management practices that are similarly adaptive and consistent”

FUNDRAISING  SERVICES

Preparation  of  Environmental Impact  Assessment,  Environmental  Impact  Statement;  Project Feasibility Studies with Sustainability Analysis;   PC  networking/ Repair;  Monitor repair;  Farm Development Services;  Watershed Protection Service & Enhancement; Sustainable  mining  facilitation/advocacy; Soft data recovery service;  Technical Research  and  Writing  Service;  Seedling  Nursery  Establishment; Cooperative Establishment.

We also  engage  in   environmentally-compliant waste management  services  aside  from  reforestation, forest tree rehabilitation,  community environmental  awareness,   and  other  development  projects.   We  recycle  old  equipment and  other  stuff  and   donate  them  to  schools  and other  groups  that  are  responsible  for  the  management of  our  natural   resources  in  the  countryside.   We  use  computers  in   our  community  awareness  campaigns,  in    educating  schoolchildren  about   environmental  issues.  We  have  realized  that    when   trained, the   children  are    highly  effective   in  persuading  the   older  members of  the  household  to  observe  environmental  laws  and  regulations  such  as   the  logging   ban, quarrying, kaingin,  or  dumping  hazardous   chemicals  used in  mining, etc.

Everyone   must  pursue the  goals  for  the  environment  even  if   takes   years  of  hard  toil  to  grow bio-diversified  trees  and  crops  again;   we  should  be  able  to watch   our  forests   burst  once  more  with   life- supporting   trees.  We  pray  you  could  give  us  assistance  through   any form  of  donation,  preferably  food  items    or  other  items  you  might   want  us  to  distribute  to  the  needy  families   who  are   tending  our   agro-forests, our  mountains    in   the Sierra  Madre. Community  donations   or  gift-giving  is  an  effective  way  for  us to     soften    the  uncooperative  or  skeptical   folks,  and    strengthen  the  involvement  of  those  who  are  already  cooperating --  all  for  the   achievement of  our    goals  for  the  natural  environment.    These  people  are   the   food growers  of  the   country,  they  are  the  stewards  of  our   dear  forest  and  mountains.
